I guess I'm asking this question from a DE perspective. We use chat/IM reference (Trillian), and I keep a blog (http://distancelibrarian.blogspot.com) that highlights library services that can be used from afar.
What's your biggest/current challenge in working with distance education students?Mine right now is getting connected with them. My institution's focused DE library efforts are fairly new, so I'm having to blaze quite a few trails....
