About Me:

He is a university scholar and received his Ph.D. from Aix-Marseille University, France. From 2010 to 2011, he was a post-doctoral research fellow at Universite de Montreal, Ecole de bibliotheconomie et des sciences de l'information. He also received his B.A. and M.A. degrees in Library and Information Science in 1998 and 2001 respectively. He is an independent information consultant, specializing in informology, information management, knowledge organization, metadata, indexing, thesaurus design, and construction. His research interests include the World Wide Web, information representation and retrieval (indexing and abstracting), knowledge organization (metadata, cataloging, and classification), information consulting, information marketing, informetrics, scientometrics, altmetrics, open access (OA) and so on. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Informology, an international open-access journal available via http://www.informology.eu/
