About Me:

Zaheer Ahmad is well committed and active young professional currently working in Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency-PILDAT as Information & Communication Officer. He completed his Master in Library & Information Science & Master in Political Science from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. He also served University of Management Sciences and Technology (UMT), Lahore and Pakistan Engineering Congress (PEC), Lahore in the capacity of librarian. He remained executive member of Punjab University Library & Information Science Alumni Association (PULISAA) in 2011-12. Recently He elected Vice President of Pakistan Library Association, PLA-Headquarters (http://www.pla.org.pk/headquarter.html) for the year of 2014-16. He remained secretary of Pakistan Librarians Welfare Organization PLWO-Federal Branch for the year of 2014 and now he is President of Pakistan Librarians Welfare Organization PLWO-Federal Branch (http://www.plwo.org.pk/fedral-branch.html). He is also serving as deputy editor in “The Librarian: A Quarterly Newsletter” (Newsletter of Pakistan Librarians Welfare Organization PLWO).
