About Me:
William Denny is an Assistant Professor and the Distance Learning/Government Documents Librarian at California University of Pennsylvania since 2005. He has been an academic librarian for over 18 years and has been providing library services to distance learners and faculty members teaching via distance learning for over 10 years. Previously, he worked five years in Atlanta, GA, for Central Michigan University’s Off-Campus Library Services, traveling throughout the South and East Coast to provide library instruction to students taking classes at military installations such as The Pentagon, Ft. Bragg, Andrews Air Force Base, and Ft. Buchannan, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. In addition, he is an adjunct professor for the University of Maryland University College, where he teaches UCSP 611, Introduction to Graduate Library Research Skills. UCSP 611 is a requirement for all graduate students and taught online using a course management system developed at by the University of Maryland University College. William is past chair of the Distance Learning Section.
