About Me:
I’m a graduated disabled man who lives in Cote d’Ivoire. I have overcome most of the obstacles to be at this level of study, because when you have a disability in my country or in Africa, it is not easy at all to go forward, you need a particular effort because if you are not rejected by own family, that is the society that reject you. I grew up at this area where I succeed my BA got from university at the English Department, after that I worked like a volunteer with some of the local NGO in the following field: Peace, Social, and Environment. I played many roles with the NGO according to my appointment. For instance, I have been the National General Secretary of a disabled Association called GIEHPCI, with this Organization I was in charge to welcome new disabled students and I gave them all kind of tips their could need as far as their choice of field of study, students rooms, student grants, and other issues are concerned. I have also worked with Pentecost Aid Mission (panmci) which is a Social Organization, with this Organization, I taught the English Language to the volunteers who give something at the end of the month and with this fund, we support he other ones mainly: Orphans, Disabled, older. I do not forget my actions with Alliance des Métis de Cote d’Ivoire (ameci) an organization of Peace, it has been created after the political post electoral crisis that my country knew in 2010 end, this crisis has had an impact upon the people relationship because this people of Cote d’Ivoire are still divided, those of north are opposed to those of south so when appointed like the communication responsible of this Association we have had some meeting on the National television and radio where we sensitize the people upon the value of the peace. We went forward in the areas where we meet the villagers to talk about the peace like the core of the development, and how they could live in peace each other by the link of their behaviour.Today through my experiences I got with the NGO, I have the to create my own NGO, just to make the promotion of Education and English Language. I want to make the promotion of both Education and English because in my area many young people are still illiterate, they can not read and write and as you know a people without Education is the lost one and the lack of Education could be the source of many conflicts, I added the English Language because this Language is spoken everywhere in the world and as we are living in a country where people French, my support is to make the people of Cote d’Ivoire a bilingual oneo.
