About Me:
My interest in combining business research with librarianship began approximately four years ago when I was promoted to Assistant Business Librarian at Enoch Pratt Free Library. In fact, I found the subject so interesting that I enrolled in a graduate-level business certificate course at the University of Baltimore, which I finished in 2008. The courses I took there—economics, business statistics, marketing, and accounting— have all helped me better understand the needs of business researchers and while giving them accurate information and instruction. I eventually assumed the Head Business Librarian position in 2010.
I have recently began pursuing a Masters in Public Administration at the University of Baltimore. This is in an effort to expand my choice of alternatives in career development as well as learn the more technical aspect of managing a public department or institution. I'm hoping to graduate in 2015!
