https://I want to learn more about using social bookmarking tools and other aspects of Library/Web 2.0 to reach out to students that aren't coming to the physical library building for whatever reason. I'm concerned we are not connecting with many patrons who don't realize we already offer loads of great online resources via our website, and let them know they can still "use the library" even without coming on campus. We also have a huge worldwide distance learning community which I think would benefit from the information relayed through an online presence. I'd like to use the social networking sites to advise students of new databases, website makeovers, user surveys, etc., as well as provide occasional helpful hints about getting the most from our online resources.
