About Me:

i rather talk about the library ;-) we are a small and new library/project (one and a half years old) serving our city (diriamba, c.30000 inhabitants) and other rural communities. in general, books in nicaragua are a luxury. most kids DO NOT own a book, reading for pleasure is an unknown thought. our desire and pourpose is to provide an oportunity for kids to get aqcuainted with books and produce in them a love for books and reading. lending libraries are also limited in nicaragua, we do have a lending program and a mobile program that visits schools.
