About Me:

I am going back to school after 12 years because while I have long considered getting my MLIS, financial constraints prevented me from doing so. While that is an ongoing struggle, I also believe strongly in access to information and the role of public libraries as safe spaces where people can come to learn, rest, socialize, and organize. I could not sit by any longer when I felt the need to be a part of the community that is helping to protect freedom of information and ensuring equal access to resources.
