About Me:

I came to librarianship after 13 years as a professional performing artist. While gaining experience working in reference and bibliographic instruction at California State University in Los Angeles, I developed a passion for information literacy a decided that a career in the information provision was my calling. Working as a Metadata Specialist in the Digital Library Program at Indiana University in Bloomington, I gained expertise in areas of digital project management, metadata generation, and Semantic Web technology application. As the new Visiting Reference Librarian in the University Library of Columbus, I am looking forward to fusing my knowledge of emerging technologies with reference services to implement collaborative efforts and strategies for building bridges between diverse groups on the campus and the library community.
