About Me:

Lisa Burgert, Assistant Professor, is a Reference Librarian and the Coordinator of Instruction at the University of San Diego. Her liaison areas include the School of Leadership and Education Sciences, and Psychological Sciences. She provides reference services, teaches one-shot sessions, a semester length credit research methods course, and is an embedded librarian in research methods courses. Her research interests include information literacy and social media in libraries. She is actively involved in the American Library Association, California Library Association, California Academic and Research Libraries, and Lifelong Information Literacy. Lisa holds a B.A. in Liberal Studies (Education) from San Diego State University and an M.L.I.S. from San Jose State University.
