About Me:
Kelly Mendoza manages the professional development program for Common Sense Media’s education programs. She develops online professional development tools, videos, and trains educators on digital literacy and citizenship issues. Prior to this role, Kelly was a curriculum writer for Common Sense’s K-12 Digital Literacy and Citizenship curriculum. She has produced education resources for PBS Frontline (Digital Nation and Growing Up Online), PBS Teachers, and the Media Education Lab at Temple University, and taught undergraduate media and communication courses. Kelly holds a BA in Communication and Visual Arts from Regis University and an MA in Communication from the University of Colorado at Denver, and is a Doctoral Candidate at Temple University.
