About Me:
Dr. Juliana Peloche is a Senior Learning Adviser at Edith Cowan University, where she leads initiatives to enhance AI literacy across the institution. Drawing on her doctoral research in AI in education from the University of Wollongong (UOW) and over two decades of teaching experience, she specialises in bridging the gap between emerging technologies and educational stakeholders.
As an AI literacy expert, Juliana works with faculty, staff, and administrators to develop their understanding and practical application of artificial intelligence in educational contexts. Her doctoral research, which explored stakeholder perceptions of AI in education, positions her uniquely to guide institutional adaptation to evolving educational technologies.
Originally from Brazil, Juliana brings a rich international perspective shaped by her experiences teaching across three continents, including four years in Chile and five years in Australia. This global outlook enriches her approach to educational innovation and cross-cultural communication.
During her time at UOW, Juliana demonstrated her commitment to institutional advancement through active participation in various committees and initiatives, focusing on enhancing student experiences and university policies. This experience in institutional leadership complements her current role in driving AI literacy and technological adaptation at ECU.
Juliana combines academic expertise, practical teaching experience, and a deep understanding of technological innovation to support educational transformation in the AI era.
