About Me:
As the Head Librarian at Shahida Islam Medical Complex, I manage and provide reference and research services to students, faculty, and staff, using cutting-edge tools and software such as EndNote, Refworks, Turnitin, and Mendeley. I have over 10 years of experience in library services, with a focus on establishing and developing libraries from scratch, marketing and advertising library resources, and conducting orientation sessions, specialized workshops, and information literacy programs.
I hold a PhD in Information Management and an MPhil in Library and Information Science from the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, where I also completed my MLIS. I am a certified trainer at Mendeley and a published researcher in the fields of metadata design, content management, and data visualization. I am passionate about fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and creativity among library users, and contributing to the advancement of knowledge and innovation in the medical field.
