About Me:

I have been working in Librarianship for 17 years, first as a Library Assistant, then to Customer Service equivalent to Librarian and currently am a program officer for an NGO Learning and Resource Center. I have participated in Learning 2.0: The 14 Things and the programme include blogging, Social networking, social bookmarking and tagging, online book catalogs and a more. Participating in Library 2.0 Virtual conference l hope to expand my knowledge. Aside from that, the threat to librarianship now cannot be overemphasized but l strongly belief that even though with existence of so much facilities to make information readily available to people, there is still that dire need to cipher these information to get useful returns at the same time librarians need to constantly update their know how to deliver a good service and keep us in business.
