About Me:

I am working as a librarian since July 2001. Since then I am not only engaged in library related jobs but I am also engaged in professional activities in the field of library and information science. I am engaged in • Teaching students at the Study Centre of Panjab University, IGNOU and Algappa University pursuing PGDLAN, M.Phil in Lib. & Info Science, M. Lib. & Info Science and B. Lib & Info Science since 2005. • Guiding researchers pursuing PGDLAN, M.Phil and M.Lib from various universities (Panjab University, IGNOU, Algappa, Choudhary Devi Lal University) for their dissertation since 2005. • Writing articles which are being published in editorial works and national and International journals. • Presenting papers in national and international seminars and conferences. • Got sanction of creating a “Resource Center” at the Dev Samaj College of Education and a grant of Rs. 200000/- was sanctioned by UGC for the same which was created to cater the information need of the M. Ed students of the College. • Worked as technical advisor for project undertaken by Om Infosys PVT Ltd for automating Mohinder Singh Randhawa Library, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana.
