Ph.D, MLISc., PGDLAN Library Management, Knowledge Management, Project Management, 14+ Yrs Exp (Current Role: Library Management and Administration, Planning, Budgeting and handling all other library routines and managing section-in-charges.) (Past Role played previously: Techno-functional Project Manager for ECM projects using SharePoint, Documentum, InQuira) Current location: Patiala, Punjab Home Town: Bangalore, Karnataka Hi I am from Patiala and serves as the Deputy Librarian at an University, Patiala, Punjab India. Prior to this, I served as Knowledge Management (KM) Consultant at TATA Consultancy Services (TCS), Bangalore. I am having over 14 years of professional experience in Library Management, Knowledge management (KM) / Enterprise Content Management (ECM), and Project Management (PM) in IT Sector using ECM tools such as SharePoint, Documentum and InQuira. Awarded Ph.D in Library and Information Science on the topic “Knowledge Organisation Systems in Digital Libraries: A Case of ETDs” from University of Mysore, Mysore. Also recipient of 2008 Endeavour Research Fellow to visit Australia as part of research study at School of Computer science and Mathematics, Victoria University, Melbourne. Investigation made on KOS aspects such as ontology, taxonomy, concept maps, metadata, information visualization, user experience, search strategy and others w.r.t Digital Libraries and Electronic Theses and Dissertations.
