Teen Tech Week

Just wondering if anyone is making any special plans for Teen Tech Week. I am looking for an interesting program to hold at my library. Either I could run it or, if necessary, I could hire a facilitator to run it. Let me know if you are having such a program or have any ideas!Thanks, Alissa

Thinking about Audiobooks/Walking Program

When I was a teenager, I participated each summer in a "Swim 50 Miles" program. We knew how many laps we had to swim to make a quarter mile, and we recorded the mile segments on a chart for everyone to see. Providing programming for "older" teens

I have been working very hard this past year to create programming at my library for teens, but so far we have only attracted younger teens and tweens. Any ideas about attracting that desired older teen demographic? There are no community service requirements in our district, so that is not a draw either. So far the only thing that has work, even a little, is offering food during the program as an incentive (but the Boss isn't thrilled about doing this). I'd love to hear from others who have…
