I thoroughly enjoyed the following article. It addresses many of the questions that we face concerning our virtual dignity (or lack thereof), and it has challenged me to think even more about my beliefs and assumptions. One of the effects of reading this article has been to solidify an idea that’s been floating around the edges of my awareness for quite some time: We will always attract others that honor us in the same way and to the same extent that we honor ourselves. This seems to be equally true whether we’re considering our online or offline selves.
