Just when I was patting myself on the back for being cutting edge by using Google's map interface to trace John Steinbeck's route in Travels with Charley, I came across a new creativity tool. If you have an IGoogle account, Google has put in a fairly simple interface to create themes using your own images. This is new enough that I found weeks into my contribution that I was the only person with themes showing County Kerry, Ireland. Mine can be seen at http://www.google.com/ig/directory?q=terry+ballard&hl=en&type=themes . I've also blogged about this with enough details to spare you the hours of frustration that I chalked up at the beginning that is at librariansonedge.blogspot.com .
