Full Session Description (as long as you would like):

Please join me as I provide an overview of the AI Productivity Tools instructional workshop I have created for medical residents in the postgraduate medical education program at the Cumming School of Medicine. In reviewing the mass amounts of tools, bots and subscriptions available aimed at an academic medicine audience, I saw an opportunity to provide an entry point for teaching medical trainees about generative AI productivity tools to assist in research and practice. These sessions, taught during residency Academic Half-Days encompass three main areas of artificial intelligence in trainee workflows: AI scribes, AI personal assistants, and AI research tools. Throughout my teaching with trainees, I encourage ethical use and considerations for privacy, data, and academic integrity. This conference session will emphasize the vital role that librarian's play in the adoption and evaluation of AI tools in medical education
